MUFASA
To mark the release of Mufasa: The Lion King, Disney Italy, together with T3KNE and Artled, created a powerful immersive experience at the Terme di Caracalla, one of Rome’s most iconic and well preserved ancient landmarks.
Director Barry Jenkins and the Italian voice cast: Luca Marinelli, Alberto Boubakar Malanchino and Elodie, attended the event where for the first time in 1,500 years, water once again became a central element of the space, thanks to a new reflective installation introduced in 2024. I had the opportunity to support the creative direction of this unique project, which transformed the monument into a living stage where history and storytelling met. Through video mapping projected onto the stone and water, imagery inspired by Mufasa illuminated the vast ruins, bringing the spirit of the film to life.
